Since the current owners, Nick and Sam, took over the space in the summer of 2021, the restaurant has gained new life, with a special focus on the exterior, now transformed into a charming space that invites you to enjoy the sun and the countryside scenery.

The O Lavrador kitchen is constantly evolving, with menus that change regularly to reflect the seasons. Inspired by flavours from various cuisines, it always favours the best, fresh and local products.

Highlights include Fish Friday, with fresh market fish and classic “beer battered” fish & chips, and the English Sunday Roast, much appreciated throughout the year. During the summer, the experience is enhanced with live music under the olive tree.

The wine list celebrates the best of Portugal, accompanied by a carefully selected range of gins, ports and other spirits. Just 10 to 20 minutes from Vilamoura, Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo, O Lavrador is the perfect place to eat, drink and relax in an authentic and characterful environment.
